Express Works did an extensive remodel of our home which included new flooring, remodeling 3 bathrooms and gutting the kitchen. It was a massive undertaking that required us to "live" upstairs for 4 months. Express Works not only delivered superior workmanship on schedule but made the entire process manageable. Don Westbrook communicated with us daily throughout the project and we always knew who to expect at what time. His employees are polite, respectful, talented and hardworking and they left the premises spotless each and every day. He scheduled particular tasks to be done at the most convenient time for our family and even made special accommodations for our beloved elderly pet. We have since used Express Works to remodel 2 bedrooms/bathroom upstairs and for countless other projects. He is the best professional we have ever encountered in this industry and we wouldn't consider using anyone else.

When my husband and I decided to remodel our house, we were left with the HUGE decision of who to use. Don Westbrook's company, Express Works, consistently received glowing recommendations, and now we know why.

We remodeled every bathroom in our house, our study, laundry room, stairway, replaced all flooring downstairs, painted every room, painted the exterior, and had a pergola build behind our pool. It took 8 months, and are SO thankful Don and his team were the ones we chose.

Don runs his business like a BUSINESS. He scheduled meetings for us throughout the 8 months for us to present our ideas and wants, for Don to give an extremely detailed list of what these ideas amd wants would cost, to present a revision of ideas and wants into a workable plan, the schedule of each project, submitting drawings of cabinetry design, etc. Because of this, there were not surprises on the budget or schedule. Yes, you read that correctly. We appreciated Don being candid with us if he thought an idea would cost more than the impact it would have...even if it meant he would lose money. He wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final product. We are!

Express Works is a comprehensive team...electrician, plumber, painters, woodworkers, etc. There is no subcontracting, which makes an enormous difference. We never had to wait for a subcontractor to finally show up so that the process could continue. Don nailed down the schedule tightly and it was adhered to. His team is highly skilled, respectful and friendly, and cleaned up debris before they left each day. They have been a part of Don's team for years, which speaks volumes in this industry. Each morning they arrived at the same time and left each day at the same time. This allowed myself, my husband, and two teens a schedule so we weren't caught with our pajamas still on!

We are extremely pleased in the work done in our home. Our master bathroom was taken down to the studs, the shower enlarged, closet door relocated, and cabinetry built to meet our individual needs. We love it. Our study was transformed into a lovely room I did not think was possible for function and aesthetics. Don personally tracked down the manufacturer of the flooring I wanted to use in Italy to ensure there would be enough for the project. The area where the pergola was built is around a very oddly shaped area that was already there and couldn't be changed. It turned out much better than I though it could ever be because of the time and thought they put into planning it. All areas remodeled look great thanks to the expert guidance of Express Works. I am very pleased with the work Don & his team did in my guest bathroom; they re-tiled my tub surround & it's beautiful. Everyone cleaned up at the end of the day; hard to tell they'd been at my house when I came home; Don's professionalism is outstanding; & he definitely understands the importance of his customers. We used Express Works for the remodel of our 2nd bathroom. Don was great from beginning to end. Communication was great, we always knew exactly what was going on. All of Express Works employees were great. We received a thorough update daily and each day the work area was completely cleaned before they left. We will definately use Express Works again. We have all heard horror stories about contractors, so when we wanted to completely remodel our outdated kitchen I was concerned about finding someone I could trust. My internet search led me to Sugarlandnetwork.com and that is where I found a home remodeler’s dream - a contractor who is honest, talented and takes great pride in his work. Don Westbrook of Express Works took our outdated 70’s kitchen (yes, complete with small dingy cabinets and formica countertops) and turned it into a masterpiece, fit for a centerfold spread in House Beautiful. He completely gutted the kitchen and had custom cabinets made by his cabinet maker Luis, who is a true artist. We can’t say enough about Luis’ skills, his eye for details and exactness turned out cabinets that were beyond our expectations. Don was there for us every step of the way, giving advice when we asked for it and offering suggestions based on his vast experience. There were several times when I thought I had a better idea, only to call Don and say “You are right, your idea is perfect”. All his workers were true professionals and when they left each day, everything was cleaned up and put out of the way. We were kept informed of the progress and what was scheduled to happen next and they kept to the schedule. We never had to wonder where they were or when they would show up. If you want a contractor who can make your dreams come true then Don Westbrook and Express Works is your only choice.

We got a recommendation for Express Works from a neighbor. Don was great, easy to work with and keep to his schedule to complete the job in 4-5 weeks. He was done in 4. One thing I really liked was that all the people that work for him have been with him for many years. Everyone was very pleasent and at the end of the day the kitchen was cleaned up and was never a mess when they left. We have used Express Works to repair rotted out wood above our front door and entrance way, and also at a later time, to paint the exterior of our house.. They did an excellent job both times. They were professional, courteous, and showed up when they said they would and on time. They finished the jobs when they said they would be done, and cleaned up afterwards. Don or his supervisor stopped by several times as the jobs were being done to see how things were going. I would highly recommend them for service, reliability and their price!

Approximately 3 years ago, we purchased a very plain home that needed considerable updating and some significant changes to the kitchen and master bathroom. We still marvel at our good fortune in having others recommend Don Westbrook and Express Works. He totally renovated our kitchen, relying on our design ideas but also helping us to weigh the risks versus rewards of any changes. His valued opinions surpassed our design hopes, netting us the unique appearance and functionality we wanted. Though we pride ourselves in our thoroughness, Don exceeded our expectations with his attention to detail and Old World craftsmanship. He and his crews worked in a timely fashion, completing the project sooner than expected. The same was true when he created our custom master shower and home office. Typically and all too frequently, we tend to move from one house to another every two years. But, thanks to Don, we love our home too much move. So impressed were we with Don and Express Works, he also later built us an excellent and elaborate covered patio for entertaining near the pool. We routinely recommend Don to our friends. We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Don and his Team. We had been in contact with Don for about a year regarding this effort and when we were ready he made his crews available and started the job. I could truly be an advertisement for Don Westbrook and his company, Express Works. We were impressed with the workmanship, but even harder to find, the amazing customer service. My husband is a perfectionist and usually does everything himself because he is never satisfied with anyone else's work. However, this was a fairly major kitchen re-do and I convinced him we needed a contracter on this job. Don always showed up when he said he was going to, and always followed through on what he promised 100% of the time. We both work, so it was great just having one person in charge of everything. We even went out of town for part of it, knowing we could trust Don and his crew. He would not let us pay a dime until we were 100% satisfied. Even my husband was impressed! I am so happy with my "new kitchen". I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
