We needed a new larger A/C unit for our home, in addition to some ductwork replacement. I had gotten a few quotes from some companies that were rated high on Angie's List, when a friend referred me to Ray's A/C. I called Ray and he was able to come out that same day. Ray seemed very knowledgeable and was able to clearly explain all the work he thought the house needed. He promised me my quote within a few days, and it showed up right on time, itemized with the two different options we had discussed. Ray's quote came in much lower than the other 4 quotes I had received so we went ahead and scheduled the job. Ray did a fabulous job and I couldn't be happier!! He finished in the time promised, and was courteous and professional every step of the way. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing any A/C work done.

I called Ray and said my upstairs unit wasn't blowing cold air. He said he'd be by in an hour. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem - a bad capacitor. He replaced the capacitor. Checked the freon levels (they were fine). He warned me that the compressor was very noisy and could be prone to failure at some point. I asked him to provide me with a quote for a replacement compressor (about $2100) and a quote for a high efficiency unit. He said he'd email that to me. All told, it was a great experience. We called Ray on a Saturday explained our concern with the upstairs unit and he showed up a hour later, as he said he would. After determining that the freon was low and there was a freon leak that caused the condensation, he worked with us on options without trying to sell a complete new system (which contractors typically do to reduce their risk - or not believing in their quality of work?). He started with adding freon and offered the coil replacement without a purchase requirement and also would deduct freon cost. It was a pleasure and we decided to go ahead feeling comfortable with his approach and pricing. He showed up and finished at the times he said. He also checked and cleaned the condensation/drain line which appeared to be the cause of some leaks stains. After work was done the drain line appeared to have another crack. Ray came out at 9:30 in the evening to fix it. No comments, no additional cost, just superb customer service. Contractors that think with you on price and solutions options, and deliver on service are rare. But it's those contractors that I gladly do business with again. Ray comes highly recommended after this experience. Thank you Ray.

I called Ray to come out and take a look at 1 of my 2 units that was causing cooling problems. He was very punctual and honest about his recommendations. He provided two options; change the evaporator/coil or install a new system (Amana). I chose the latter, which was very economical considering a brand new unit.

Ray was strongly recommended through this Sugar Land network and he delivered! I am extremely happy and feel that his prices were very reasonable.

I checked his prices against others, and Ray was far more economical (plus,it helps if you pay cash).

When you come home to a broken air con system it feels like the end of the world. Called Ray last night and he was here at 8 am this morning. The repair was quick this time and hopefully will extend the life of the compressor for a bit. Thank you so much Ray for servicing my A/C unit and fixing several problems that cause the unit to leak water in the drip pan and blow warm air throughout the home. Ray came to my home at the scheduled time ready to help determine the problem. Ray unclogged condensation line, added freon, AND unclogged a tub drain all for a very reasonable and fair price. Because water was still coming from the unit into the drip pan, Ray came out the next day to determine what was going on. As it turned out not only was the condensation line clogged but the drain line connected to the air handler unit was also clogged. Ray replaced the pipe without any extra charge. Ray thanks again for your expertise, professionalism, and your warm and sincere smile. I look forward to you coming out in the fall to service my A/C unit. Ray really knows what he is doing!

I have used him before for a late evening call. And who shows up with the fix? RAY!!!

I had passed his name to other co-workers and they are pleased with his prompt service and cost.

I called Ray for a concern and the solution resolve a couple of days later due to my schedule. Again, Very Professional, Prompt Service, and Cost cannot be beat. Many thanks again Ray for all you do.

Team did two jobs for us, the first was a new evaporator coil and condensor fan motor. The unit runs much cooler now. The second job was to replace the ductwork in our 30 year old townhouse in an effort to improve my wife's allergies. They also re-routed an erroneous air circuit and improved the sizing of several lines - now the vents blast cold air throughout the house very effectively.

Prices are significantly lower than other bidders. Very responsive on short notice.

Came across Ray's on the web last night at 9pm.
The a/c company we used for years was sold and couldn't get a tech out last year after repeated calls. I did nothing and let it go. Last night was my breaking point as the thermostat hit 80.
Ray answered and said I will see you tomorrow.
Ray found a leak in a main duct and added some freon. A/C is at 73 right now 24 hours later.

We hired Ray to inspect our home's A/C after our first few bills were horrendously high. Ray did a very thorough evaluation and recommended some important servicing be done and also some part repairs. For a variety of reasons outside our control, Ray's suggestions were not implemented in a timely way and sure enough, the A/C system developed a serious problem and caused water damage to our home. I contacted Ray for just a cost estimate and when he could possibly work an annual inspection/cleaning of my 2 AC units. Not only was his base cost lower but he was able to schedule me for Saturday without an extra charge! I did not have to take off work - a great benefit for me!
