This is the second review I have written about Barry. I have worked with him all month to fix a heater problem that another repair service told me would cost $6,000. Barry's second opion saved me $6,000.00 and for the first time in 5 years and many many many other repair/heater/air conditioner repair companies, he took his time and fixed the problem. I have been "fighting" a major problem with my AC/Heating situation in my home since moving in 5 years ago. I have replaced the AC twice, and still have electric bills close to $500.00 a month plus paying for "repairs". It has put me and my budget in never never land. As a small business owner myself this has been a financial mess. At the recommendation of Tidwell Plumbing I looked on this site and found Barry Irby. He IMMEDIATELY found the first problem, when the previous owners install a new roof,they did not add ridgevents so I had no cross vents. Then shortly after that we starting experiencing the worst cold front in 20 years. My home temp was 53 degrees. The company that had been doing my 6 months check up came out and explained that my home was missing a unit and the ductwork needed completely redone for a small sum of $6,000.00. I call Barry, he immediatley came to my home and found first my home is too small for 2 units and my ductwork, needed some work but not replaced. The first thing, however, my plumna (?) was leaking air and my attic was warmer than my home. He sealed the plumna, came back later to check to make sure it was holiding and again resealed another part that had come off because of sloppy inspection. He is now working with his friend that is an AC/furnance person to help repair the ductwork. It has been so wonderful to work with Barry. In such a short time I have come to feel so comfortable with him and just know when he tells me, we will get to the bottom of this, he is going to do it.

We hired Barry to replace some rotted wood on two of our doors, facia along two exposed places, and minor roof repairs. This is the second time we retained him.
Work was of highest quality. Barry works methodically, carefully and pays attention to details to get it done right the first time. He is definitely highly-skilled in his work and one of the best in the business - gdkgeo

In November I noticed a dripping noise in my house during a rain storm. I called Barry (after reading the high remarks on the Sugar Land Network) and explained the noise. He came to our house that day and covered the area on the roof to stop the leakage. He later returned to replace our electric attic fan on the roof. We've hired Barry and his crew for several jobs (Hardiplank siding as well as storm doors). He's scrupulously honest and wouldn't quit until we were satisfied. He also checks with us at every step of the way and is open to our changes and added on tasks. His crew are very hard workers, kept the worksite neat, and were very considerate of my pets.
