My 5 years old just "graduated" from Lakeview in June. As they were singing that day, Lakeview is really the best! My daughter, like her sister before her, is ready to go to "big" school. She has been prepared and made at ease about the whole experience by her experienced teachers there. I'm feeling very comfortable about her going to Kindergarten too. She learned so much already at Lakeview that I have no doubt about her following school with no problem. She can for example already read and count to 100 (by 2s).
This school has so much love and warmth, it feels like a second home. The owner, Clarissa, takes her job very seriously. She is always making sure the school is safe and that every child there has plenty of attention and love. The children never get bored, and have a lot of interesting activities, like: cooking, gardening, science experiments, taking care of living "pets" (lizard, worms, ...)...
I have more than 5 years experience with the school, and I never had any problem or complaint. My two girls loved to go to school and I will not hesitate to register my third one as soon as she's old enough.

My child has attended Lakeview for over 4 ½ years now and I can’t say enough how pleased I am with this school. He even completed his kindergarten year at Lakeview and I know he will be very well prepared for first grade. From the staff, to the education, to the whole environment, everything is perfect! If you want your child to have a great experience, and you want your child in a school where you don’t have to worry, look no further. Lakeview Montessori really is the best!

There is two thing that I can say about Lakeview, love and family. My daughter has been going there over a year and a half. It was the best move that my wife and I ever made. Every teacher, including the director, knows not just the kids names, but the parents as well. They are always teaching the kids and sometimes the parents too. I would like to share a store that happened this past Thanksgiving. My mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer and was terminally sick. It was the hardest thing that my family was going through. When Lakeview found out, they were so thoughtful and loving, always checking up on us, giving us a call to see if we needed anything. It was a very emotional time for my family. With the extra love and family support that we received from all the staff there, we were able to make it through. Thank you again Lakeview. Any Montessori school can teach, but can the staff care and love much as the Lakeview staff? My daughter has learned so much and I know she will continue to learn as long as she is at Lakeview. Don't hesitate, take your kids to Lakeview, you will not be disappointed.

Both of my children attend school at Lakeview Montessori and they absolutely love it. The teachers at the school are amazing. They really know each child so well because they take the time to interact with them individually. They keep the parents well informed and they always have the kids best interest at heart. My kids have grown so much academically and socially since attending school here. I would recommend this school to anyone.

We started our three year old at Lakeview Montessori in June 2010 and we absolutely love it. He was coming from a different school and it was hard on him at first, but the teachers took genuine interest in him and how to get him adjusted and less than two weeks later, he started to really like it and now talks about what he's learned every single day and looks forward to going to school! We can just tell what a huge change its made in him and we couldn't be happier. We have a 9 month old and look forward to starting him at LMS as soon as he can!

My husband and I are VERY happy with Lakeview. We love the staff like family - it's like our son is visiting aunts! I am always proud to share e-mails from the school w/family & friends (educational updates, medical recalls or illness/virus notices, & slideshows of the kids participating in montessori lessons, yoga, school picnics, creating healthy snacks, petting longhorns, & exposure to various cultures around the world). My son is so happy!! For working parents, that's an awesome feeling!!

Rarely do you find someone that cares for your child in the loving and nurturing manner you do; however, this school does a wonderful job of it! I have been so pleased by the knowledge and care all my son's teachers have given him. He truly enjoys going to school each day!

We could not be any happier with our kids at Lakeview Montessori. My wife (and I tagged along) searched EVERYWHERE - ALL over Houston and Sugar Land - and ended up finding such a great school right in our own backyard. There are other schools out there that show/use the latest and greatest technology (and that is good in its own way), but we wanted our kids to feel cozy, at home, PRACTICAL, and most of all loved and guided by who we think are great teachers - this is why we chose Lakeview Montessori!

This is the best school you will ever find. Teachers treat kids with respect and love, and you can actually feel that they care and love your kids. All kids enrolled are very good as well. The owner of the school teaches as well and set the learning and respectful mood of the school.

After searching for months for the perfect school to transition our 2 yr old into from in home child care we came across Clarissa Guidry and her wonderful staff. Our little one was welcomed with love and that extra one on one attention that was especially needed early on. We couldn't ask for a better school, we are amazed everyday with what our child has accomplished and continues to learn.

I would definitely recommend this school to any family. My 2 and a half year old loves it here and the teachers are wonderful! She learns so much and the school way out-did my expectations, I did not expect my daughter to be able to do what she does at such a young age. I always wanted to take her to a Montessori school but thought it would be outrageous to be able to afford but this school is not and I am very grateful that I can send my daughter to such a good school. There is no feeling better than seeing her be happy when I drop her off in the morning, makes my day start out perfect knowing she is happy and safe!

Lakeview Montessori is cozy with a relaxed environment that feels like home. The staff is great and really takes a personal interest in the students. It is obvious that the students both love and feel loved by their teachers and staff. Clarissa, the directress, always makes the time to discuss my questions or concerns as my children are both relatively new to the school. They previously attended a Mother's Day Out program; but, they really love the hands on activities at Lakeview Montessori that foster self-confidence and independence. In addition, my children have had numerous, wonderful, enrichment opportunities this summer including: visits from a snake guy, juggler, musician, a member of the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra, and Noah's Ark. Lakeview Montessori has been a truly wonderful experience for my two children this summer and we are all looking forward to more adventures this school year.

I enrolled my daughter approx. one year ago, and I have never been more comfortable and pleased with my daughter's environment, her nurturing, and her education. Clarissa, the owner and toddler directress, is a gem of a person who was made for understanding and nurturing children. The facility, indoors and out, is extremely "homey" and charming. My daughter says on her way to school," I want to go to "Rissa's house." That shows how much she feels at home there. No matter what the child, I feel that each receives personal attention and guidance. This also goes for the parents when we need a little encouragement, as well! One of the best kept secrets around!!! I love it! I wish I could go to school there.

Lakeview Montessori offers the best in Montessori teaching. The staff is incrediable, and the owner/director (Clarissa Guidry) of Lakeview Montessori is an exceptional individual. She takes the time to listen to you and your child's concerns, and always keeps you informed of changes in the school. Before I found Lakeview Montessori, my son was enrolled at a childcare center that basically treated each child like a number and the childcare provider's had no control of the children, it was chaos. I was not happy and my son was not happy. Thankfully I found Lakeview Montessori. As soon as I walked into Lakeview Montessori I felt comfortable about the environment and the staff, but more importantly my son was happy. The children are always working on lessons or doing something constructive, and always seem to be happy. I highly recommend Lakeview Montessori on the Hill. Adrianna

Clarissa Guidry was my 2 year olds teacher at another Montessori school in Houston 2 years ago. When Clarissa became the director of Lakeview Montessori, I felt my daugher's security blanket in our move from Austin to Houston was gone. So I moved her to Lakeview and her brilliant joy returned as she was with Clarissa again. Not only does Clarissa provide an excellent Montessori grounding for children but she also supports their emotional needs. As a professor of Education, and a Montessori supporter, I cannot praise and recommend Lakeview to enough people who want the best for their children. I say this because the ages 0 to 6 years are the most important foundation building time of a life. Now we have an 18 month old who goes to Lakeview as well, my other child is now 4 years old and still loving Lakeview even though we drive 25 minutes to get there and 25 mintues back home.

When I had to return to work after staying home with my son for 27 months, it was a difficult transition for our family. But, the school's director made the change as easy as she possibly could. She took a sincere interest in my son and it showed that she genuinely cares for him. She was very intuitive on the stages my son would go through during this transition period which helped me to anticipate his reactions. Now, my son looks forward to going to school and sometimes doesn't want to leave! The staff at LMS is very knowledgable and positive. They really do create a great learning environment where my son can grow and develop. I can't thank them enough!

My son has been attending LMS for over a year now and it is the best thing that could have happened! Previously he was enrolled in a daycare as an infant and then at another Montessori school here in Sugar Land and both schools were lacking something in quality and personalized attention. LMS was exactly what we needed. It has a small, family-like atmosphere and the children learn so much. I can actually see my son progressing in his learning and application skills everyday. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring and we could not imagine life without them!

My son has been enrolled in LMS since he was about 20 months old (he is now 3 years old). He was in a home care environment prior to attending LMS. I saw an immediate change in him once he started attending LMS. He is excited to go to school every day instead of crying when I drop him off in the morning. Developmentally he has shown tremendous gains. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The classes are small yet diverse. I feel very fortunate to have found a school that my son not only enjoys attending, but is learning in on a daily basis.

My husband and I are very pleased with the quality care provided by the staff members at Lake View Montessori. The Director has over 20 years of teaching experience in the Montessori environment; a huge advantage to our community. LMS is a small school, which works out very good for us since we enjoy getting to know all of the staff members and being able to interact with the teachers on a daily basis. It's a real comfort for us knowing that our girls are in such a loving and nurture environment.
